CIM-TEK Bio-Fuel Filters
The Bio-Tek® filters are UL® recognized and specially designed to work with bio-fuels. Ethanol and biodiesel are very corrosive fuels. They clean the tanks and piping out resulting in a higher particulate ratio in the fuel. Each Bio-Tek filter uses Microglass media, twice the life over paper, in order to capture all the extra particulates released by the scouring effects of the pipes and tanks. Cim-Tek® Filtration understands that diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) is a key ingredient for allowing the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system work to reduce emission pollutants such as NOx (nitrogen oxides). In response to the new 2010 truck regulations for SCR systems we have developed D.E.F.-TEK® filters for particualte removeat from DEF fluid at the dispenser to ensure SCR systems function properly.
