These types of fuel storage tanks have developed into one of the most preferred methods of storing liquids, both flammable and non-flammable. Approved by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), American Petroleum Institute (API), and Steel Tank Institute (STI), our company manufactures a wide variety of above-ground storage tanks with capacities ranging from 25 to 30,000 gallons. These storage tanks are constructed from carbon and stainless steel, and their designs can either be cylindrical, vertical, rectangular, or even elliptical.
Horizontal & Vertical Fuel Storage Tanks
Even without labels from UL and API our storage tanks, both vertical and horizontal, are constructed and tested for leaks, at minimum, in accordance with UL-142’s standards. These tanks can either be single-walled or double-walled, as it depends on the specifications requested by the owner. While the more common liquids can be stored in these tanks (such as fuels, chemicals and inks) we can create custom tanks for your specific need or applications. And making our storage tanks compatible with most products, interior lining is also an option for the user to choose. The following are some of the more accepted codes and guidelines our storage tanks have complied with: UL-142, UL-2085, API-650, F921, F941, F001-03, NFPA-30, 30A & 31, UFC, et al.
Rectangular Storage Tanks
These days our company has seen an ever-increasing demand for both single-walled and double-walled rectangular storage tanks for use as bench-top tanks for easy transportation and storage, waste oil burners to do away with excess oil, lube oil tanks for storing lubricant and many other applications. Measurements for these storage tanks are usually specific to a given project and thus require a custom design. We at Envirosafe Above Ground Fuel Systems can manufacture rectangular-shaped designs, both in carbon and in stainless steel configurations – baffles, bulkheads, sloped bottoms, fork tube supports and additional stiffeners. Whatever you need – we can provide.
