Envirosafe™ tanks are all built to order. This means plumbing access points can be laid out and cut to accommodate any equipment or plumbing layout your project requires. Aside from custom layout two very important steps happen during this stage.
While we staff some of the most experienced welders in the business a hand weld is often considered less consistent than a sub-arc weld. For this reason, we make sure that the few areas that must be hand-welded are “face-up” at the top of the tank to ensure fuel is never resting over these areas. While this is not necessary or done by many manufactures it has always been part of the Envirosafe™ process for sake of superior redundancy. In 27 years we have never built a tank that leaked. It is important that we keep that perfect record in place for years to come.
Once all bungs are securely welded in place we conduct pressure testing of the interstitial space between the primary and outer tanks. Every weld is coated with a viscous water-based liquid and systematically visually inspected. This ensures even the smallest of leaks are quickly identified and remedied.
